Warriors played bloody well last night. Consistent pressure all 80 min. Vatuvei had an average game otherwise it would have been 28-12. I hope Warriors win, they have a good team and some excellent up and comers. Locke is very impressive, and if the others click they will put it to Manly. good for the sport in NZ too Did anyone else notice how many shocking tackles/wrestles and ****ing about the Storm got away with? God they are a pack of cheating ****s that slip almost as many greenbacks into the refs pockets as the Dragons do...
People in OZ can you tell me why everyone hates Manly? I thought it was him deciding to go to penrith.
Not at all. The funniest is how the news of Cleary going tp Panthers got out. His kid was telling all his mates at school "I'm going back to Sydney next year"
Everyone hates Manly because they are "the Silvertails" Many people see them representing the rich, snooty upper class etc etc As Manly fans Say "Everybody Hates Us But We Dont Care" :deal Broncos have a big band of Haters aswell.
Congratulations to the Warriors on a great performance. After the set-backs of last season the Storm could easily have been where the Titans are. But they've bounced back in extroadinary fashion, put a great season together, and only fallen at the second last hurdle. Storm didn't get the fairytale finish, but there will be another equally disappointed team next week.
blight on our game - the judicary , ****en hopeless makai should have got 2 weeks minimum . the macintyre system has to go too - warriors should have been gone first week in on that broncos game 40- 10.
I hate Manly but you're wrong. Many worse incidents than Matai's have been let off. The Macintyre system is great as it makes the finals more exciting.
warriors are playing great finals style football. but id like to make a few observations... warriors got off the storm players too quickly, but unbelieveably didnt pay the price for it. with manly, they will pay heavily. manly has players that have played state of origin this season, which seems to harden them. they also are a tight group that have been together for a while, and have been through and won and lost grand finals together. imagine the warriors mindset at present. they are living in NZ, where the rugby mad nation is hosting the world cup. so the whole nation is focussed on rugby, their religion. the warriors must be in a warlike frame of mind. they also have something to prove.....they are not all blacks, but they want to be seen to be just as good. the momentum the warriors have has come at the right time. its no coincidence its happened when the world cup is in full swing in NZ. they have taken teams by surprise. they wont surprise manly. on paper manly win. recent form suggests the warriors have a shot. which team will play the better style of finals football? the least mistakes? which team has more experience? the crowd will count for nothing. NZ will have equal support. i tip manly to try to grind out a finals style win, while the warriors will attempt an exciting brand of footy, that could pay off big, or see them lose handsomely. the big games come down to mistakes, experience, and concentration. i just dont think the warriors can do it with their first attempt as a group. you gotta lose one to win one.
But you waited until now to complain about the MacIntyre system? In regards to the Matai incident - did you see Cam Smith's flying elbow on Saturday? Notice the ref didn't see it nad he wasn't placed on report for it? Matai didn't go in with intent to knee Yow Yeh in the back - he actually stuck his foot out and then attempted to pull out of it. Slater's done worse many a time and never been pinged for it.
That was ****ing awful. For all their skills and in spite of looking like altar boys him and Slater are ****ing dirty, dirty players.
can you imagine if you had put a multibet on those 3 outcomes... even just 10 bucks? you would have made a **** load
