Ariza makes good points about needing consistency in performance as well as promotion to get the big fights. Marquez for example brought up Pacquiao frequently, but he performed well and excitingly in a consistent fashion. I want Maidana to get another shot, but he'll need to make himself just a bit more relevant, and Dibella would do well to do the same for Martinez before such a great fighter loses his physical edge.


Manny may be more complete, but focusing on speed (which he now has less of) and explosiveness (which was just as potent at 130) isn't going to get Manny to run through Marquez, provided JMM comes in well-conditioned.
