I'm no Floyd fan, but why is that relevant?? People pick Floyd to win because he's better than everyone else (with the possible exception of Pacman).

If Floyd had fought Cotto at that time, 75% of people would've picked him to win....they always do!!

You fanboys are all ruining this site. Pacman and Floyd are amazingly rare fighters who are so far ahead of everyone else in the sport it's laughable. Both could've taken different routes and fought better fighters at certain times, but there's no way any fan of either fighter can honestly say these 2 aren't the best.

Enjoy them why they're here guys.......

are you an idiot? *******s would of course vote for pacquiao and if that is your line of thinking, the votes were skewed in favor of pacquiao and cotto was actually on even or must be the favorite against pacquiao on ESB.

of course you have not thought of this because you are ******ed.

now you went from trying to give an evidence to saying **** since you cannot prove that odds for floyd-mosley are as close as pacquiao-cotto or you cannot find a comparable thread here in ESB where at least 40% are picking mosley to win.

i don't even know if 75% would pick floyd when he would be coming from 2 years of retirement at that time (certainly he would not have to fight marquez in september if he would fight cotto in november).

but i do admit that part of why pac-cotto was almost a pick-em fight is due to the fact that most people see pacquiao as not yet a proven commodity at WW even after fighting oscar at that weight. but before the fight, i was actually planning to bet on cotto but am glad did not do it since i have promised myself not to bet against pacquiao anymore after the delahoya fight.

    are you bladegunner's ALT?

i already answered your post. it doesn't necessarily mean that it is an easier fight but as what i was asking before, since when was the last time had floyd fought a near as odd was cotto on pac?

if pac stayed at LWW, he would be on the same predicament with floyd that he would be always the wide favorite against the fighters in his weight class. pacquiao having a close odd with cotto means he challenged himself by fighting guys above his supposed weight class.

now floyd can actually do the same by fighting pacquiao now at WW or fighting martinez at the higher weight. i am talking about risk and pac did took more risk than floyd.

The only way Floys could fight a 50/50 (or close to) fight now is Pacman and Martinez. Exactly the same applies for Pacman as well.

I blame both those prima-donna ***s and their teams for not treating us to this fight yet, and I can't say I blame either for not fighting Martinez (even though both, especially Mayweather, would have a chance against him).

All I'm saying is that Ray Robinson would be favoured to beat anyone, it doesn't mean he isn't taking risks, it just means people think he's better. The same applies for Floyd....

It's easy in hindsight to say Mosley was shot, but people were calling Floyd out to fight Mosley prior to the bout.

Personally I think Pac has taken more risky fights in his career and thus to this extent I do agree with you, but it's not really Floyd's fault that he's favourite over everyone given that he's barely had a close fight since 2002.

That is your point, because people think pac is shitter than he really is, he gets extra points for winning fights that people thought he might struggle with. Yet his ability suggest otherwise.

Therefore it is quite clear that pac gets extra points for people thinking he shitter than he really is.

Where in contrast floyd is favourite no matter who he goes up against so he will always get less credit for his victories.

Yet people have the audacity to claim pac is a better boxer than floyd:rofl

it's not because pac is shittier than people think of him. it is that pac continuosly challenge himself by fighting bigger and better guys above his supposed weight class limit. floyd was actually in WW for 6 years already but it took him just last year to fight someone in the class of mosley. what pac did by fighting guys like cotto means he is not contented with ruling LWW. floyd can actually do the same by fighting martinez or pacquiao but he is contented with fighitng guys like ortiz who is not a threat to him.

for some *****s..pbf fight with hatton who went up to WW is already considered a risk. Fighting JMM who had to go two weight classes
    is already a risk:rofl:lol:

knocking out Otriz via CHEAP SHOT is a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT! :hat

I picked Pacquiao to KO Cotto in 5.

Anyone who saw Cotto getting beat up by the likes of Torres, Corley, Ndou, and Malignaggi knows he has no business in the top echelon of the sport.
