I can't see how. You have to be a damn good fighter to beat Nunn, R.Johnson and McCallum.

Toney's problem was his lack of discipline

Why is it that only that portion of the letter always gets posted ?

    http://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/flashback-when-roy-jones-tested-positive/

What he tested for was what any of us could have tested for had we brought the suppliment at a GNC !!

Was it illegal yes ! Did both he and Hall test for it yes !

Did he ever test positve ever again ? NO !!

He tested six times over the limit for anabolic steroids. What proof is there that Ripped Fuel (a fat burner) can make you test posiitive by that amount?

    You would be correct.

Roy Jones Jr. was a juice head.

Steroid testing didnt start in boxing until a pilot scheme was started in 2002 and didnt become the norm across the board until 2003. The reason he got caught was because the state of Indiana started their own scheme in 2000. The state of Indiana had no laws to use so they refered it to the ibf, wba and wbc who ignored the results.

BTW: I hope you dont get banned for posting the link that has been the basis for the discussion.

Stop making excuses for the man. He knew it was illegal to use when boxing, so therefore he cheated.

Did Mosley test positive? No he didnt. He just admitted. Fooling a doping test isnt the hardest thing to do(Some are harder than others though). Many guys cheats for years, before the get caught, cause they make a mistake, or run into an effective test.

Ironically, quite a few test positive for masking agents, not the actual doping substance :rofl

Along with Vargas, and possibly a covered up test by De La Hoya, who were all top fighters of the last 20 years, and people wonder why Floyd asks for OSDT, boxing has covered up roid use worse than baseball.

:deal only in boxing are drug cheats still given credit for what they achieved.

Jones, Toney & Mosley all took PEDs, it came out one way or the other but no one knows how much they did. In most sports they just get black balled - once a cheat, always a cheat.

ON TOPIC - James Toney - take away the steriod thing - and still grossly overrated. Yeah he had skills but he lacked and serious commitment and could lose to any old bum. Real greats keep it together and stay focused. And if they have an off day (like Lewis) they come back and set the record straight.

    Oh yeah, forgot Vargas :rofl

Funny thing how ODLH arguably TKO´ed one proven cheat (Vargas) and arguably beat another confessed cheater at least once(Mosley)

Havent heard of the possible cover up for ODLH. That can be a part of the explanation..
