There's a few problems with what you're saying. First off, we don't even know if Pacquiao can still make 140. Second, there's no TopRank fighters at 140. 3rd, Pac can duck Mayweather easily in a bunch of different ways. Pac is the good guy, Mayweather is the bad guy. The fans and the media, want believe Pacquiao. He can say and do whatever he wants. If the fight doesn't get made, Mayweather will get blamed.

 

No need for Pac to duck anyone, Floyd does enough ducking for the both of them.

 

Summed up very simply above. Why you think moving down a weight class would be easy and less suspicious than not agreeing to odst I don't know.

You're either playing around, or are very naive. Going back down to 140 at this point may be the only way people would think that he is ducking Mayweather. Pac is about to fight Marquez, and they have Bradley and Rios lined up. Why the hell would he go back down to 140 when he can fight LWs ad JWWs at WW? Pacquiao is in the driver's seat. He can flip flop all he wants about the drug testing and people will believe him. Nobody is saying he has to fight Mayweather, everyone is saying Mayweather has to fight Pacquiao.
