What do you think is the reason for this?

There is a multitude of reasons. At the end of the day though, not enough people have taken Mayweater's side on the drug testing issue. So if Pacquiao says no, or says yes with ridiculous stipulations, or says yes and then says no, or files a lawsuit, most people wil still side wth him.

Pacquiao actually has relatvely little to gain by fighting Mayweather. If Pacquiao and Mayweather never fight, Pacquioa can still make a bunch of money fighting other guys, and it won't negatively impact his legacy or popularity.

Mayweather can make a bunch of money fighting other guys. However, he and his family already get hounded everywhere they go about Pacquiao. His popularity and legacy will take a major hit if the fight doesn't happen.

I agree, its unfortunate because like you said Mayewather cant do anything without hearing about Manny, and its not the other way around. Objectivity, to me, has to point to the fact that Manny does not show the same hesitance to fight people the way Floyd has, thats why its like that. Im sure you'll disagree, but theres really no doubt that Floyd wants to fight the least competetion for the most money, and Pacquiao seems to have a real desire to challenge himself against the best and I dont think anyone can honestly say that Floyd really wants to do that. He does it to himself really

solid stuff, my man. everybody who is neutral knows what pac has done after jmm has not been to impressive. a lot of them were shot, old fighters and weight drained. he hasnt taken a serious challenge for some time now. a lot of people say cotto, but, he blitzed cotto:deal cotto was chosen after pac saw his fight with clottey and he saw how much cotto has changed from his former self. cotto was slow, and his defense was still lacking probably from the after effects of the margo fight. floyd's biggest problem has been the drug test. people say he is ducking him by demanding one cause he is looking for a way out of the fight. but, the truth is floyd beats pac 9 out of 10 times. whether pac is blood tested or not, it doesnt matter. the truth is i think his fans use it as an excuse to not face him. they know floyd will whoop their boy so why not say he is ducking them and save face while they r at it? :D

A lot of feel exactly like this, despite the fact that they've been fighting the same guys.

If blitzing Cotto, reducing Clottey to a shell, and tearing Margarito to shreads was not impressive, tell me what, objectively, Floyd has done lately that would be considered impressive, and why

Cotto Margarito and Clottey (those Floyd didnt fight) were all more dangerous to Manny than Oscar, Hatton and Mosley were

You see, too many people feel there is no problem with the statment that you made. Margo is more dangerous than Mosley despite getting destroyed by Mosley. Cotto is more dangerous than Mosley despite the two pretty much fighting on even terms. Clottey is dangerous despite not beating anyone. Pacquiao has been on a good run. However, I'm not sure how you can praise his recent opposition and trash Mayweather's.

He doesn't need to. He already knows that the fight won't happen if he doesn't agree to the tests. So all he as to do is not agree, and the fight won't happen. Not only that, but no one would blame him. The guy straight up said that he would be weakened for several days if he got blood tested, and most people sided with him; this despite the fact that logic and science says that what he claims is bull****.

What the fighters say doesn't mean ****. It's all about the media. The media has way more infuence over public opinion, then do the fighters. The media has not sided with Floyd. The general public has followed suit.

Your one of the better posters in the general, you know that 'beat the man who beat the man' argument isn't a good one.

Mosley was shot to **** when Manny (Mora and Floyd) finally fought him. On top of that, Margarito clearly wasn't himself fighting directly after the hand wrap controversy. Add to that, there is a much greater side difference between Manny and Margarito than Mosley and Margarito.

Cotto and Mosley had an even fight years ago, and Mosley clearly declined since that point, more than Cotto has and there's really no question about that. Cotto only had one loss before fighting Manny.

Clottey didn't beat too many people, but he's a big strong welterweight who definitely presented a danger to a smaller Pacquiao, and Clottey always had a good showing against whoever he fought, and wasn't shot in any way when Manny beat him.

I'll ask this, do you think Ortiz would have done any better against Manny than any of those three?

No they weren't. Cotto and Margarito were bullies. They beat up on little guys, and when they met someone with skills, they lost.
