Mayweather has superior hand speed, quickness, reflexes, instincts and boxing skill. Margarito is not skilled or fast enough to find Mayweather enough to be able to jump on him.

Mayweather is on another level then Margarito and would impose his will on him more then Margarito would be able to impose his. I mean name one elite athlete that Margarito has ever beaten?

Castillo did a great job of staying disciplined and not waste punches looking to pressure while staying in good defensive position. Looking to stop Mayweather's offense before attacking. Margarito isn't disciplined like that he will believe he can throw a million punches to try and get to Mayweather and make many mistakes leaving many openings for Mayweather to score pts and escape. He isn't going to pressure Mayweather with quality defense and quality timed punches.

    Wow!!!!!!

I always thought jabs are jabs. Now I have to categorize it too to smart/intelligent jab, plain jab, and dumb jab.

    Such a steep learning curve.

So, Gayweather threw 82 jabs against Ortiz and landed 12. Would you say that the 70 that did not land are dumb jabs and the 12 that landed as intelligent jabs? Or would you introduce another term like "sizing up the opponent" to describe the 70 that missed, because it did not actually belonged to the dumb jabs.

I am so bewildered by the depth of boxing knowledge that *****s have. It is really mind-numbing and mind-boggling.

Do you actually really have to post in the training section of ESB to be considered "knowledgeable" in ESB?

We already know about the Mexican fan base. Not all of them think Floyd ducked that piece of trash. Many do, but 99.9% of Pacquiaos fans believe Floyd ****ed that ****ing cheat. That cheat Margarito is garbage

Pac did whoop margarito but he had a tough...TOUGH time doing it, it wasnt easy for shane either and margarito's mind was still in the locker room scared he would get arrested after the fight. I dont know about now but the version of marg that pacquiao fought is a nightmare for just about any WW, so i doubt Floyd has an easy time against the margarito that fought Cotto. The ****er is simply relentless, has incredible stamina, a ridiculous chin and forces you into a fast uncomfortable pace.

Too small? Floyd would kill Margarito now. Margarito back then had plaster, so he had a chance. The Castillo fight was ages ago. Floyd won, and learned a lot in those fights. Some fighters lost or got knocked out in their close fights. Look at the pfp number 2 fighter. How many times did he lose, and lose by ko?

He never ducked Margarito. If you knew boxing, you wouldn't even utter this juvenile, clueless opinion.

You are clueless. Ask Arum why Floyd versus Margarito never happened. Contracts and options. This part of boxing is something you don't understand. You probably choose not to.

Mayweather vs. Margarito 2006 is a great fight. You got a version of Mayweather that is moving up in weight chasing the Oscar fight who still looks like a 140 lber. I think Margarito had a great chance at that particular point in time. I don't think Team Mayweather ever liked a Margarito fight. Would his fragile hands hold up in a fight like that? Today, Mayweather with a comfortable decision

You have no idea how big of a fool you just made out of yourself.:rofl
Classic case of google translate FAIL here.:rofl

BTT, I think at 154 it could be a good matchup, if only to show just how good Floyd really is in the inside.
I'm comfident that FMJ won't be able to always fight at a distance from Margo and there will be moments where Margarito will be able to just swarm him on the ropes.
Love to see how May would react to those liver shots.
