I wonder why Afrocentrists want to prove that Egypt was "black". It's a society that stagnated technologically and culturally for almost 3000 years, and only adapted (occasionally) after invasions by foreign countries. Unlike the Sumerians, Egypt contributed few (any?) innovations to the greater Mediterranean world. It prospered because of its manpower, convenient location, and access to copper. After iron flooded into the Middle East, the Assyrians, Babylonians, Libyans, etc. kicked Egypt around.

However, since you brought it up, please explain WHY there are no pyramids around the Mediterranean outside of Egypt? If the Egyptians were so backwards and their "Middle Eastern" neighbors so advanced, please explain this obvious in-congruency.

1) Pyramids are totally useless wastes of manpower with no real purpose other than the Pharaohs' self aggrandizement. Few civilizations built them because nobody needs them.

2) Nevertheless, other stone- and copper-age civilizations built them (Maya, Aztec, etc.), so it's not as hard as you suggest.

You said to be a great you had to beat a great.

You said a great is a hw wlad does not beat.

I think your logic is horribly flawed due to cause and effect which is why you won't answer the question.

Once we can establish who the first great is by your criteria we can then move the discussion onwards and upwards.

I set him off every once in a while by simply claiming "Ancient Egyptians race is unknown" which it is for the most part, the limited and questionable evidence we do have such as skeletal measurements has spawned a vareity of perfectly reasonable theories from all sides. He than posts the same links over and over again, which for the most part actually confirm my statement(see above). I raise doubt to his assumption, and the burden of proof is on him, and he has failed everytime.

I just like exposing him as being race obsessed. I wish he would explain his inconsistent standards for Lennox Lewis and Rocky Maricano though. A great has to beat a great as he says. They both beat greats, yet he rants and raves in Classic that Marciano is a bum while Lewis is an all time great. Perhaps this glaring gap in logic is a product of his race obsession? Maybe he is so racial in thinking his opinion on boxing is ultimately worthless? He certainly doesn't seem to know much about the sport.
