We all know that there are significant differences between various African populations. That's nothing new. African Americans also have signicant differences from other East, North, South, and even WEST African populations. They are all still Black African, as were the Ancient Egyptians.

Yes, Egyptians are Egyptians, and they were tropically adapted people - just like ALL other Black Africans.
The Ancient Egyptians had "super-negroid" body plans?

    How did that happen?

Like I said, Ancient Egypt = Black Africa.

    Stop playing crazy...

Thread is an instant fail because title implies you can't be a top 20 ATG fighter without beating a significant historic fighter. That of course is complete hogwash and illogical non-sense.

    Keep taking the bait...snatch!

As stated in that article, the bulk of the descendents of these tropically adapted people are still in Egypt today, they are modern North Africans. If you wish to categorize them as "black" that is your rather short sighted opinion.

And we have barely even touched on Ancient Egypt's cultural dynamic, which is essentially a "Sudanese Transplant". I wonder what the people of the Sudan looked like 5000+ years ago? Probably nothing like the Arabs, Turks, Greeks, Persians and other Eurasians who currently occupy the Northern parts of Egypt...

As our expert said....given the skull type, the skin could be even lighter or darker so they decided on a medium. Sounds like his "race" as you define it, is up in the air.

    fact beatdown...

We conclude that the Egyptians have been in place since back in the Pleistocene and have been largely unaffected by either invasions or migrations. As others have noted, Egyptians are Egyptians, and they were so in the past as well.

If the legacy of a fighter was determined only by his quality wins, then Joe Frazier would be #3 after Ali and Louis. Frazier has probably the best heavyweight win of all time against Muhammad Ali. Max Schmeling would be Top5, because he beat Joe Louis.

The legacy of a fighter is determined by quality wins and other factors, like dominance how well he did after his prime, historical impact, etc. Wladimir best wins are probably Chris Byrd (one of the best of his era, who's place can be compared to Ken Norton) and David Haye (one of the best cruiserweights of all time). But Wladimir has another factor that elevates his status: dominance (6 years) in his reign and inside the ring, and cleaning his division.

If beating someone of "significance" means beating an all time great in the peak of his prime, well then there have been few who have claim to this. Most great champions have beaten their predecessors when they were past it, with the exception of a very select few.

Wladimir Klitschko may not have the scalps of a prime Tyson, Lewis or Holyfield on his record, but he has certainly beaten a large number of rated men who were in their primes, undefeated and or holding some sort of title of one kind or another. Its been nearly 8 years since his last defeat and while his opposition his hardly stellar, it is by no means lackluster.. Should he finish his career on a winning note and ad perhaps two or three highly regarded challengers to his win list, I can see him cracking the lower part of the top 10. For right now, I place him somewhere between maybe 13-17.

Do you have study a that compares body plans of Ancient Egyptians to Modern Egyptians?

If so, I'd love to see it...
