The Edwin Rosario fight comes to mind ....he was hurt early , but he stayed on his feet to win it on points
I felt he was at his peak in the Jose Luiz Ramirez bout, the Bazooka Limon fight is a good showing too.
Camacho was a guy who was headed to be great and one punch from Rosario made him safety first which affected the rest of his career. A very very good fighter, but not atg.
My sons, Frankie and Bobby, were sparring partner for Hector for the Ramirez fight in Vegas, and my son Tony fought Hector for the WBO JW title.....Hector was a very good fighter, but I have to agree that the Rosario fight turned him into a safety first fighter....
absolutely and as noted above, the ramirez fight was likely his peak. his hands in that fight are almost universally regarded as among the fastest ever. he had everything working for him
So I'm best aiming at Limon and Rosario and everything in between Thanks I'm assuming the fights with Leonard and Duran etc are pretty much a waste of time?
Yes, Tony Baltazar is my son. The fight between Tony and Hector is not a good fight to watch. They were at that time the best of friends and did not go all out during the fight.
