I know that, If Marquez had more reach he would probably officially have Manny's number in the ring. But even still all Cotto had to do was get on the back foot and his jab started landing more accurately compared to what was happening earlier in the fight.

Yes, Mosley was a good fight. Kudos to Mayweather for that. But it still doesn't dismiss the fact that he's kept his nearest challenger, Pacquiao, at arms length for the past two years. Honestly, it's embarrassing when it was only back in 2009 when we all laughed at the idea of Pac fighting him. But then, in a matter of months, Floyd's demanding Pacquiao come nowhere near him unless he submits to some special drug tests? The ****, Floyd? :huh He's just a little midget coming up from super featherweight. You'll kick his ass. Why you gotta' be worrying about tests for?

Edit: Oh ****, I totally misunderstood your post. My bad. Yeah, it would have been good for Pac to have bothered with Mosley before May got to him. But still, the talk of Pac-Mosley was happening when Arum had already arranged the fight with Cotto. And it was understandable for Pacquiao, who was still an unknown commodity at 147 at the time (because everyone dismissed the Oscar win as being legit), to not fight Mosley there and then. And when Pac destroyed Cotto - proving he was a force to be reckoned with at 147 - the attention immediately shifted to Pac-May. Everyone forgot about Mosley.

He should be more worried about that right hand coming straight down the pipe.

Little featherweight that is breaking the cheek bones of light middleweights.

How long did Holyfield cry when Tyson asked him for special tests?

The only time they could opt for Mosley was before/instead of Cotto, who was his first real test at WW. Any time after that Mosley wasn't available until after he was defeated by Floyd.

Umm no. Mosley was available during the Clottey fight. He was available immediately after the Berto fight fell through. Mosley came to Manny's gym asking for a fight. Mosley was THE welterweight champ for a year and a half.

Why didnt Roach make the fight?

Marquez has struggled against worst competition in his last few fights, no way he will give Pac any kind of problem. Bad fight and shouldn't expect nothing less than a blowout.

If you remember Clottey was already signed by the time the earthquake came about.

Wasn't that before the Cotto fight? When Pac was untested at 147? It was quite normal for Roach to say no.

Correct. When Pac-May fell through and both men went their seperate ways, Mosley was locked for a Berto fight.

Mosley challenged Pac before the Cotto fight, but Mosley made it clear that he was available even when he signed to fight Berto. He made it clear that he would leave the Berto fight to fight Pac or Mayweather. Pac could have easily fought Mosley before Cotto or after. Arum and Roach preferred Cotto and Clottey though. Then after Mosley looks done they chose Mosley over Berto.

From a business stand point I don't mind them taking Mosley since they could always fight Berto later while Mosley was going to retire soon. But from a comp standpoint Berto was way more appealing or Marquez at 140.

    Where does he say this?

Even if it was possible note however that Mosley at the time was also with GBP, and the TR/GBP rage was hot off the oven; just to throw another wrench in a complicated issue it would have been along with breaching contract, whereas Clottey was right below Cotto in WW ranking coming off a controversial decision against him and a TR fighter, so it was much more seamless move for Arum.

So when Mayweather doesn't fight Cotto or Margarito while he and Arum are suing each other for owed money and claims of Arum stealing from him. Its because he ducked them. But if Pac doesn't fight Mosley its because of contract disputes as he fights under GBP. Glad we can clear that up.

Like I stated before from a business stand point there is no problem with it. From a comp stand point Pac/Mosley could have easily offered Berto step aside money and got the Mosley fight. Mosley wasn't interested in fighting Berto but did since Pac and May didn't accept his challenges. Since GBP promoted both Berto and Mosley they wouldn't have a problem postponing the Berto fight to take a shot at Pac. Which would earn them more money regardless even if he isn't with GBP. You think Oscar would force Mosley to fight Berto over Pac?

defiantely this. its like some *****s are mindless lemmings.

but the bottom line is, pac marquez is a mismatch now. ortiz pbf was a way more closer matchup. marquez has nothing for pac 2.0.
