By your logic, anybody who doesn't build a pyramid isn't CAPABLE of building one. And that's silly.

I could just as easily say that the New Kingdom Egyptians were less advanced than the Old Kingdom Egyptians because they didn't build pyramids, either.

I already named several civilizations that built pyramids and were less advanced than the Egyptians. Perhaps the Hittites were too busy inventing iron tools and other USEFUL stuff to build piles of rock in the desert...?

How is piling rocks onto one another (with thousands of workmen over the course of decades) more impressive than devising not one, but six different MASSIVE advances in weaponry?

Let's take just ONE of the advances that the Hyksos brought into Egypt: THE WHEEL, and compare it to the pyramids.



THE WHEEL: Basis of pretty much all modern mechanical technology. Also handy for building Hot Wheels toys. The Egyptians didn't have it.

PYRAMIDS: Big, useless piles of rock. Required thousands of people and many years to construct, but not that much engineering knowledge. Other wheel-less, primitive civilizations in the Americas built these as well.
