Calzaghe must be top 10 atg ?

    Nah it wouldn't.

    He suffers from the same scenario Roy Jones Jr used to face, The Klitschko brothers and Floyd Mayweather Jr face now, since he's beaten everyone put infront of him and in most instances, dominated the fights he's had - people make excuses for the fighters he's fought.

    If he came out and absolutely obliterated Froch or Ward after the Super Six fight - they'd just find some reason to bag either fighter.

    Guys like Calzaghe will look better and better as time goes on - Finito Lopez, Rocky Marciano, Lennox Lewis - all those fighters got better as time went on because people realised how dominant they were as champions, Calzaghe is the same cloth.

    Ultimately, what more can you ask of a guy who had more than half his fights at a champion level, faced 15-18 guys who were Top 10 ranked by Ring, Faced four guys who have held Ring #1 or were Ring champion in their division ( Eubank, Kessler, Hopkins, Jones Jr) and unlike other fighters of this era, fought the superfight everyone wanted to see (Kessler vs Calzaghe)

    Unbeaten record don't mean that much.

    46-0. Well, an ATG at 168 is undeniable. Although his standing is quite shaky with Andre Dirrell doing a nice job himself.

    He beat two ATG along the way, sure, although from the 2, only Hopkins is still logding wins over younger guys. Jones is obviously over the hill.

    So with only 1 legit win over an ATG, and no opponent at 168 ever reaching the same lever as B-Hop. How is Joe a top 10 ATG??? :D

    Debatable.
    You have to remember that at the time Leonard Duran and Hearns were all middleweights. Weight jumping is over exaggerated. Back then fighters went up only a few pounds not like today where a guy gains 17 to 20 pounds.
