I used to think he did, but not after his last fight and the news that he dropped Steward so close to the fight.

i dont like that though biggest fight and he dumps his trainer with like less than a month

then again going into the biggest fight of his life he cuts out a trainer that he doesnt mesh with

i mean hatton got ko'd by pac in either the biggest or 2nd biggest fight of his career and afterwards there was backlash in the corner

maybe it is a good thing he has someone he trusts more on fight night

strategy and prep wise idk if its good

He only fought one fight with Steward in his corner. Something must have gone on behind the scenes for dropping him.

Dawson has the talent to beat anyone. He has to be there mentally though. I don't think he will be. I hope im wrong because I like Dawson.

I think Dawson just knows how to "pace" himself during the fight. That could work against him though if he loses the early rounds again.

I think that Bernard will try to literally get into Chad's head, with an early head butt. Hopefully Scully and Winky will prep Chad well on Bernard's dirty tricks, and arm Chad with a few of his own.

i give dawson a good chance in the sense of that he is very defensive minded and doesnt leave himself open

he can be jsut as boring as hopkins can be

he wont be there to be hit and he moves jabs and has fast hands

he may force hopkins to be the aggressor

    Perfectly said.

If Dawson starts slowly in this fight, he's going to get mugged. He better be in "Pascal Round 11" mode from the get-go.

BHop is my guy. I hope he wins. But he's not getting any younger and Dawson does have the physical tools to get the job done.

    Can't wait.

I think dawson beats hopkins, thats why hopkins avoided him, he knows its a difficult fight. But I question chads mentality, also him dropping steward, hopkins bringing strategy and a back of dirty tricks and superior ring iq will make this one close.

Yes, as long as he takes the fight to Hopkins, he will win.

I don't see this fight being anything other than a 1 sided boxing clinc from Bad Chad.

Yes, he can beat Hopkins. But it depends how he approaches the fight. Neither is all that good though. Hopkins is a shell. Dawson's nothing special.

I don't think he has the determination it'll take to push himself to beat Hopkins. Against lesser fighters he takes the just do enough to win road, Hopkins will use every trick in the book, he'll just give up and allow himself to be decisioned rather than try to out think him or attack him to the degree it'd take to beat Hopkins with physicality, he's not a fighter with a mean streak at all.

Please get ur eyes checked asap. The rangy laid back, passive "Bad" Chad is going to produce an unprecedent 1 sided boxing clinic on Hopkins?
