I am not the only one who thinks Pavlik was up after 8 rounds.

Pirog is good... but not that good. He's overrated by most.
Let me put it this way: He's not on the same lvl with Martinez, at least one class below.

Strum and Golovkin are better boxers than Pirog.

Unless Sergio gets a Pac, or Floyd fight there is no excuse not to fight Pirog or Golovkin.

I'd agree with Golovkin but Sturm? Dude got lucky to get by Macklin. I'd say Pirog is at least ON his level.

Why are we describing a 31 year old caucasian male who happens to be a highly decorated former amateur boxer and presently is a champion professional prizefighter as a "white boy"? I see no posts referencing 34 year old Floyd Mayweather as a "slick black boy." Double standard???

You think Pirog beats Pavlik? Because he KO'd Danny Jacobs? A prospect lol?

Go on youtube and rewatch rounds 5-8. Pavlik was blocking Martinez's punchs and tagging him easy, throw in the knock down, Pavlik was up 5-4. Pavlik completly regained control, then gassed out after the cut at the open of round 9 -(goes back to his corner and tells Lowe he's done).

I like Martinez alot. Exciting style, very proffessional, not arrogant, makes for great fights. But the guy is overrated. He's a top MW, but people make him out to be p4p and unbeatable. I just hope he doesn't lose to Barker with all his talk about moving down and getting a fight with Pac/Floyd -(which is what happened to PWill in Sergio rematch). But having seen Barker's fight with Belgechem, I expect him to get stopped by Sergio like Dzinziruk.

Pirog would give Martinez a good fight ,but I would say that's 60-40 fight in favor of sergio.

The fight with Citron should not have been closed. Not only that, but Martinez beat Cintron 3-2 times in a single fight. Knocked him out, beat him on points, and there was something else.
