Ortiz was on his way to a KO, but then he decided to get "street" with Mayweather, and God responded in turn, and Mayweather took responsibility...

    ...and what was, wasn't...

Perhaps saved for another time in another place against another opponent...

Or there is always a rematch.

There is a special interest in mind with this one...

    This had a dark ending...

It felt televised like HBO was hiding something...

I didn't like the feel of it...

    It was sterile...

Fact of the matter is, Ortiz was beating the **** outta Mayweather...yet nobody is sayin this...

Now, I tested my eyes several times, and I know I have good vision...

So how is it, that you could hear Mayweather squeaking when Ortiz landed body shots, (often), and many of Mayweather's punches graced the top of Ortiz' head, and Mayweather was lost in terms of distance, as he began to miss with his lunging right hands and move in a predictable manner....

    Ortiz began to time him...

The beggining was near the end for Mayweather. If he doesn't surrender, he would have been for a beating of a lifetime...

A beating that I would wish on no man...

Perhaps it's a good thing that Mayweather knocked Ortiz out because if it weren't for that incident, Ortiz would have beat Mayweather so bad, he may not have been the same fighter...

How fortunate it is that the fight wasn't 15 rounds as well...because Mayweather is a 15 round fighter which means that he is conditioned to take 15 rounds of a beating that Ortiz was beggining to do...

IF...and that's a decent size if...but IF, Floyd doesn't get knocked out first...but I think Floyd mental state and self belief is too strong for him to be knocked out early...

But his tactic proved wrong, as he merely served to anger the beast in Ortiz, as he was unleashing on Mayweather who was doing his best to save face, but was absorbing a beating he was probably mentally unprepared to take...

His ego would be his weakness...

But the Lord has something else in store for him and Ortiz, and maybe all of us as well...

I get a kick out of the people thinking mayweather was in tough....

Go look at Mayweather/Judah, Mayweather/Hatton, those are fights in which Mayweather was in a good scrap in the first 4 rounds.

Mayweather had Ortiz retreating in the THIRD round.... those were supposed to be Ortiz's rounds. Mayweather almost always loses the beginning rounds to elite opposition, until he starts going through the gears needed to take over the fight.

In this one he was taking over as early as the third round.... and was starting to put on a clinic, anyone who doesnt think so, needs to go watch the third round again, and then try to remember the last time Mayweather did that to anyone that early in a fight, then go on to see what he does to them later on in the fight as his opponents begin to slip and he gets sharper.

Even the final barrage of punches by Ortiz had Mayweather slipping and smiling, and guess what, he would have gone back to picking Ortiz apart, backing him up and walking him down.... then Ortiz would have went on the attack again while landing 1 out of 10 punches, and then Mayweather would go back to schooling him.

Repeat this until around the 10th when Ortiz is getting pasted and the ref stops the fight, or he quits, or the corner throws in the towel.

Im not saying Ortiz wasnt making it an interesting fight, because I think that fight was entertaining, and interesting. Its not often Mayweather fights a guy with the physical tools that Ortiz has and one that is willing to go berzerk like Ortiz. But Mayweather was hardly in tough, at least imo. Plenty of other Mayweather opponents have given Mayweather a tougher go of it during their first four rounds with him.

Vic was tapping that ass. That right hook from victor was the most telling punch of the whole fight. When I say fight I mean when they were actually fighting, not the sucker punches!
