The guy split his face open with a FLAGRANT foul that he was committing REPEATEDLY. Was he supposed to trust him?

I said nothing about trusting him. But as you said he was putting on a "masterclass". He should have knocked out Ortiz fairly, or beat him up through 12 rounds. Instead he chose the classless ***** way out. Just shows the character of this guy.

No, he should have Boxed when the ref said, "Let's go!" Which is exactly what he did.

Look, I wished it would have ended differently, but Ortiz wanted out. That is why he didn't put up his hands when FMJ put up his. That is why he didn't put up his guard or move his head when he was hit with the first left hook. Instead? He just stared at Cortez.

I agree that Ortiz wanted out of there, but that still doesn't change the fact that that left a bad impression on fans. Floyd definitely didn't make fans with that action and just fueled the hatred from the haters. Oh well. Let's just hope Pac and Floyd fight each other next.

When u look at all 42 fights and not one is against an A class prime warrior
why would the fading Mayweather fight the greatest of the decade who is miles ahead of him ? Floyd got crushed to the body in Rd 4 and almost cried. No surprise he sucker punched young Victoria.

Blantant fouls is what should leave a bad impression on fans, not hitting a REPEATED fouler AFTER the ref calls time in. These people are not "fans". They are people who are ignorant of the sport and/or haters. I wanted the fight to go on too, but you can't find fault in that ending with anyone other than Ortiz and Cortez.

If Pac tests? He will get whipped like the rest. I wish Pac's fans believed in Pac enough to actually ask him to drug test. :conf

Floyd did not need to escape...ORTIZ TRIED TO GET A DQ BY HEADBUTT....

THIS GUY...SMILING AT THE END...YEA RIGHT....Hey he can't beat Floyd in a dirty fight cuz Floyd will just knock his a$$ out...FACT

TRY FIGHTING HIM IN A CLEAN ONE AND HE'LL JUST GET SCHOOLED...

HIS BEST CHANCE WAS OVER...FLOYDS NUMBERS ALWAYS GO UP AS THE FIGHT GOES IN..ORTIZ WAS BEING SCHOOLED.

RIGHT HAND..............ANOTHER RIGHT HAND.....ORTIZ BUCKLED 2 TIMES IN THE 4TH TOO....HE WAS GASPING..

CAN'T DENY THE WEIGHT HE PUT ON EITHER...WAY TOO MUCH....PLUS HE WASN'T HANDLING THE SPEED EITHER

Floyd got hit too much in the 4th same **** w/ Castillo he has a glass body.
look at his face when Ortiz cracked him with 1:27 to go in the fourth.
Ortiz would have stopped him in the 10th.
Defense and jab is a shadow of what it was in his prime.
Now it makes total sense he won't fight pacquiao.
