Good that the crackhead acknowledges JCC as one of the greats or else he would have lost his memory of the fight he was knocked down and around the same round.

Duran fought on into his mid 40s and still no one ever was able to do what hearns did to him. The offense hearns showed in that fight was epic. And very intelligent and measured, he doesnt smother himself, he shows patience and sets up his shots even while aggressively pressing for the KO.

Tommy moved up to 154 and became a boxer for a few years, and this fight was where his right hand came back. He knocked out Fred Hutchings easily in the fight after this which led to Hagler in April of 1985. Had Tommy taken a little longer to get comfortable at 160 I think he could have beaten Marvin. And take nothing away from Marvin, he knew he had to put his all into making it a brawl.

Hearns, Leonard, or Duran beat the living dog**** out of Manny...no disrespect to Manny (he is a great fighter).

Manny would have to box and use his speed with all of them. He could not brawl with them.

I see you didn't want to deny Pacquiao getting knocked the **** out. You read this, you didn't witness this. See, when you talk boxing with someone who knows what went down, the above post you wrote is full of lies. Dont lie on Duran on behalf of Pacquiao, its embarrassing. Duran beat Leonard. Pacquiao can never top that.

Tommy could never beat Hagler. Ever. Who is greater, Duran or Hearns? I never got an answer from you.

Actually, when Tommy was blitzed by both Hagler and Barkley, those 2 endings were just as conclusive as Duran-Hearns.

No, this is the only fight to end with one guy laying flat on the canvas. A rare gem.

True. But Tommy starching Duran has one great fighter starching another. In the case of Barkley-Tommy,it's one great fighter getting starched by a good, tough fighter.
