What victor did was wrong and maybe He should of been DQ'd for his Intentional butt. What mayweather did was cheap, it was dirty and it was almost criminal. Hitting a man with his hands down is DANGEROUS, it has no place in boxing. The end of the Ortiz-Mayweather bout was not boxing, it was alot of things but boxing wasn't one of them. I never saw an Elite boxer end a bout in that fashion, it was down right disgusting.

Floyd had his sucker punches planned, I saw it in his eyes when he came toward victor at the end of the fight. He got close to victor and pretended to embrace and he waited for victor to take 1 step back and at a perfect distance he hit him with a clean left hook. Victor then looked at Joe Cortez in disbelief and floyd clocked him with the hardest right hand he has ever thrown in a boxing ring. So when floyd threw the right hand he loaded up and hit a defenseless man that was looking away from him. Floyd put everything on it, he even had his foot off the ground at the end of the punch!:lol: Imagine if he was a hard puncher? He could have possibly killed Victor Ortiz.

The crowd roared in DISGUST because they paid to watch a boxing match.. Not a street brawl. Mayweather won Via sucker punches, it wasnt a real KO. Floyd didnt use skill to get rid of Ortiz, he basically assaulted him when he wasnt looking. I laugh when I read what some boxing writers have to say about this controversial ending, they actually defend this garbage. These are guys who have never boxed a round in their lives. I feel emanuel steward's response was best... "awwwwww no" :verysad

Proof of floyd swinging so hard that his foot is off the ground after the punch! FFS usually when junior throws a right hand he pulls it back quick to get back into defensive mode. However when he threw this one the coward puts everything into it because he knows his foe will not return fire. What a joke. :hat

You sound just like all the boxing writers that were saying ortiz deserved it because he wanted to fight dirty. Well this was not a back alley and they werent in the ghetto.. They were in a las vegas arena fighting for the WW championship of the world. Ortiz fouled and he got a point deducted, what mayweather did was far worse. If you dont see it then I feel sorry for you! :hat

It was the heat of the moment. It's like someone kicking you in the balls on purpose and then hugging you and saying, Oops, my bad.

You might just assault that guy.

I've seen an elite fighter do that before many times

last time was FMJ vs Sugar Shane, the time before that it was Floyd again, this time against Gatti (RIP)

Ortiz was looking right at Floyd when he got popped with the first shot, afterwards he looked over to Cortez for help before he got Knocked down, while he was on the canvas he gave PBF the same look Mayorga gave Oscar when he got floored, a look of shock. Difference being Mayorga took his whoopin like a man, while Ortiz quit, he knew that he was about to get the beating of his life.

Do you ever get tired of making threads like these? Give it a rest. If it was so bad, it would be illegal. Victor should have protected himself.

    End thread.

He has proved many times that he's a cheap shot artist. He just executed it perfectly this time.. Hopefully his future opponents are smart and they dont touch gloves with him at all!
