why did mike tyson hate larry merchant and refuse???

Tyson didn't want another loss on his record.

 

He should change this to "I had lots of ****ing idiots in my ear 24/7 back then".

 

In that same world, Tyson and Floyd couldn't afford the cab money to a baseball stadium to pretty-please ask Merchant to hire them for that job selling hot dogs and peanuts.

well, frankly said in fair word you can prosper using your skills.They got boxing skills and probably nothing more,but ist just enough to be richer and more famous then 99% people around the word

 

But, they can box! So, the fact that they are champions is due to there proven talent and skill at what they do. larry has no such skill or talent when it comes to interviewing or commentating. thus, what you are talking about does not reflect a "fair" world.

Tyson would've ended up viciously assaulting Merchant much like the terrifying attack he launched upon Robert Downey jr.

 

Because Merchant was critical of all of Tysons unraveling. He knew Tyson was headed for destruction, was vocal about it, and Tyson didnt want to hear the truth. King didnt want to hear it either, so he told HBO get rid of Merchant or hes taking Tyson to Showtime, which he did. Tyson has never faced anyone hes screwed in the past until recently. I think it shows a little maturity on his part, that he was able to have a conversation with Kevin Rooney in the IBHOF induction. Tyson deep down has to be feel like the biggest moron in boxing history.

 

Because Merchant is racist. People try to give him a pass & say okay, he just hates "pure boxers," but Merchant hated a guy like Tyson, the type of fighter Merchant loves regardless if they win or lose. He just doesn't like black people.
