How come it's the Black British fighters who like wearing the flags on their trunks

britain is the only country where immigration is welcomed by most (city) people and 2nd generation like amir khan are celebrated by most and they usually respect that. Amir Khan might moan now and again about racial things stopping him from being bigger but Hatton was the exception not the rule, and he should have seen my grandad(rip) jump from his bed during the olympics. Even a rastafarian I know(they believe all white people are born evil and are different from coloured people) says this is the least racist country in the world.

Alborosie also seems to be accepted by rasta's. There are racist christians, doesn't mean they all are.

and i was not criticising anyone, beliefs are a part of cultural background and carribean peoples have historical reasons for believing that. I was trying to say that british non white people tend to feel an attachment to britain because it allowed their foreign ancestors to better their lives.

I can understand it but I think it's probably time to break away from that ****. There are always a few British guys fighting at world level. I don't think it's really necessary and it's probably not a sincere display of nationalism anyway. Like when fighters wear football shirts to promote fights. They probably just borrow them off mates

 

that may be a sign of the racism that was still acceptable when they were kids
