Fighting his final retirement match in Jan against Gokhan Saki, word is he has hooked up with Brother Nazim

Badr is 6"6 and has bulked up to 245 lbs of muscle, KO power in both hands, no fear and a incredibly explosive athlete @ only 26 years old, with the right coaching he could make a splash onto the scene. Highlight reel below:

He will get smashed in boxing. Guy has no chin and no control.

He is the best in what is an ordinary field of competitors at the present time.

Just heard this on another site. I think it's a stupid idea, he will get cracked sooner or later...but he can do what he wants to do, and I'll be somewhat interested in HW boxing again. Would be entertaining if he broke down and started kicking, be like Riddick Bowe-Elijah Tillery all over again.

Badr is a beast, but I don't know how he'll stack up against true boxers.

Yeah I know that. I'm glad he's getting a good trainer so he can showcase his skills. Looking forward to seeing his first fight.

Seeing how Matt Skelton did, Badr might not do so badly, his chin is definitely a problem though :think.

He could bring a lot of excitement if his chin holds up.

I just heard that and I think it's a terrible idea. He's got pretty good and efficient boxing for Kickboxing but he'll get nowhere in boxing. Sucks, really, it shows how organisation like K1 have money problem when their biggest star is quitting the sport.
