    Too much potshotting , not enough combinations. He was so f'ing fast tho nobody could do anything about it ... except Castillo of course.

    I like the current mayweather better because he has to fight a little bit smarter and he's putting punches together a little more.

    I wouldnt call him past-prime at 30 years old at that time but he had a tough career. 40-6-1 at the time they foght.

    Floyd was 23 years old.

    In many ways, I think Mayweather is a better fighter now. He's smarter, a better tactician, better defensively, and much stronger. His hands are still very quick, and he still has those eyes that seem to see everything. I actually think from 140 and up, he was/is at his best.
