quickly followed by this surely? the khan peterson fight hasnt even happened, and this guy just doesnt understand, hes the biggest ****ing idiot on here, and that includes lirva and ontheup
I will pay for it, yes: would rather see Khan in with Bradley, but that is not Khan's fault and there is some interest in this fight, it will further boost Khan in the States if he wins big. We don't too often get to see a British fighter fighting a ranked American opponent for two major belts - we don't get too many multiple champions. £15 is not a lot of money to me, so I want to follow his career while he is active at the top level. And the way he spaces his fights, £30 a year to see everything he does live doesn't seem too bad to me.
I don't often get grumpy with people, but that is a pretty ridiculous post, why did you have to bring race into it? I am white, my parents are white, my wife is white and my kids are white - I went to many of the Ricky Hatton fights, and watched those I could not go to, because it was a British fighter getting involved in some interesting fights at world title level. It was nothing to do with his being white. I have been to several Khan fights and watched those that I could not get to for exactly the same reasons, and again race has nothing to do with my interest. You say that you are keeping it real, but actually you are just introducing a race element into a sports discussion, when this should just be entertainment. A natural extension of your own argument is that you did not support Ricky Hatton as much as you do Amir Khan purely because Hatton is white. If that is that case, then you are a racist. If that is not the case, then your own argument holds no water.
i like peterson. he was in his brothers shadow somewhat due to anthonys exciting style but his fluidity and crisp technique is what makes me feel like he will be round for a while. good luck to him
