The guy is 5'11, been knocked out by Haye already, has zilch chance of beating Wlad added to the fact there is no interest to see it whatsoever.

With Harrison the guy actually has power which always gives him a chance, was alot bigger than Haye, more skillful than Mormeck.

Not to mention they had had a feud for a few years which generated massive interest in the UK.

Pretty simple answer really, the Mormeck fight is ridiculous.

Both are pretty bad but Ill say Mormeck is better if just because he has shown at one point in his career he was ABC world title level whereas Harrison has struggled to get past British level (gifted Euro shot against Brit fighter) in his whole career looking terrible everytime he has even attempted to step up to the elite Brit level and shitting himself against Haye managing to land one jab in three deplorable rounds of boxing.

Both fights suck, but Mormeck is the better of 2 bads.

Remember at the time the Haye vs Harrsion fight was called, Harrison wasn't even ranked by the WBA and their first official statement was they would not sanction it. Of course money talks and suddenly he's #14 without fighting. At that time Haye was still denying that a joke fight against Harrison would ever take place! Plus there were enough other (much more dangerous) possibilities.

Mormeck edged Oquendo and Ibri and actualy is the WBA International Champ (whatever that means), but he's ranked a lot higher as Audrey ever was, and doesn't need to pay the crooked WBA a hefty sum to be ranked in their top15 and get his shot.

They're both pretty bad vulantary defences, but the Audley one is clearly worse.

 

Lol at people comparing Fraudley Harrison to Mormeck. Mormeck was actually world champion and #1 in his division at one point, while Fraudley has always been sh*t.

Also, Wlad is fighting Mormeck because he can't get anyone better to face him. Haye faced Fraudley because he couldn't get anyone worse to face him :deal

Haye used Audley to line his pocket when Wlad wanted to fight him, he was effectively using an easy fight to rip off the punters on PPV

Wlad is fighting Mormeck as Povetkin won't fight him, Helenius, Pulev etc aren't ready...
