I think you're very naive, this channel will be heavily MMA related, given i hate this shite not a good thing for me. I have no interest in listening to people debate rankins, watching old fights or listening to Bunce arse lick every ****** fighter. It's a channel i will only watch for live content then not watch it all week. Sorry to sound so dull and blunt. But outside live boxing the sport like football is dull. Excitement = live boxing
which sports are exciting when not live?/ why would you be on a boxing forum which is about debate and discussion?
Follow people around as they build up to a fight/ in training etc. Other than that there is **** all else apart from debates or old fights. Get some wank material on there after midnight.
If they are gonna show fights from the past I hope there is some sense to it and not just random fights. Group the fights together in chronological order. For instance have a fab four month and show how the rivalries came about and what fight happened when. Then you can have the heavies of the seventies. Stuff like that.
Last night on ESPN I watched David Tua vs Hasim Rahman from the late 90's. Not a famous fight but it was very enjoyable actually, there must be tonnes of little remembered fights that were nethertheless very good and could be biught up quite cheaply to fill time slots.
I hope they show old fights to be honest.Showing guys entire careers in the best possible quality will be great for me.Yeah you can download them on the net or even on youtube but the quality for the most part is poor.
Good idea. I don't really have an interest if it shows say Ali-Liston, then Mayweather-Gatti, then back to Duran- Leonard. I'd like a 'duran' week, Hearns week, Ali week etc
Dave Coldwell has a cracking show at the end of Nov featuring Curtis Woodhouse vs Jason Cook plus the return of Ryan Rhodes. Would like to see this on Boxnation
Exactly, there is no continuity and if your historical knowledge is non existant, like mine, you don't really get the relevance of it all.
Horse Racing is exciting not live. I come on a Boxing forum to debate fights coming up, you will never see me talking about past boxers or past fights i have no interest.
not that your biased ,because your pals with him but a US show isnae a bad idea ,maybe covering north america
There is boxing every week. Every day at 9 they could report the news of the day - signed fights, results, bit of training footage etc Get one man to read all the website and report the best news at night. Pathetically easy. We should be getting a **** load of training videos. How easy is it for Franks people to the boxers gym and press record for 2 hours. They won't even need to edit it much. LEading up to a big fight they could do the 5 main boxers monday to friday, one 30 min training video every night. Frank just needs to invest in the production team. A quality producer who will hire the right people to get the right footage out there. Eveyweek they could have Bunces hour. All the boxers love going on the show, same as they do Ringside. They should be agreeing terms with all the major promoters to show highlights of fights. Promoters should embrace that as its free promotion. They can repeat every major boxing show. They can put countdowns, documentaries and classic fights. ****** must have a serious catalogue. Boxing is an international sport that has no real season. There is more than enough to fill the times but ONLY if they are serious. Otherwise forget about it. It'll be bull**** air at 7 til 2 **** every day. The MAIN thing alongside production is Frank has to delegate ALOT. If he wants to put on loads of fights, boxing channel, press conferences etc then he can't do everything. He'll need to put his trust in others.
