    Scorecard please?

Pavlik started to come on a bit (while down) and then Martinez seized momentum back.

As IE said, at no point was Martinez losing.

Granted, I do think Pirog would be pretty competitive with him - but Pavlik is a horrible example to use to make that point, for a slew of reasons (nothing alike stylistically being chief among them)

Intelligent, free thinking, fight experienced, and grown white men?

Pirog is overrated? This is laughable... Pirog at the very least gives Martinez a good fight. The best one possible at the weight. Martinez needs to fight him instead of trying to get pac to fight him at 150

yo, I saw his last fight and the boy has great d and great offence, sadly he is not as strong as of a puncher like martinez, still goodd strength, but right now nobody beats him at middleweight, except the king. piroq vs andy lee would be great, two hard hitter goin at it.

Pavlik was a shell of his former self and was winning till he was cut, thats the point. Sergio is just not that good. He also refused to fight Pavlik at a catch weight of 164. Pavlik himself had no problem when Taylor wanted the remtach at 164.

...except he WASN'T winning until he was cut. He came on and won maybe a couple of middle rounds,l when Martinez slowed, but at no point had Pavlik won the majority of rounds. In other words, he was never winning.

He was up in the fight at no point before the cut was Sergio dominating Pavlik. The rounds were all close and on my score card he was winning the fight up till he was cut. Keep in mind that Pavlik was in rehab at one point during training camp plus he had to kill himself to make weight.

    Ugh, no.

You are clearly just making that up as a revisionist justification for your nonsense now that you've been called out for it. You were asked to give your scorecard yesterday and have not taken the opportunity to do so. Don't go citing it now as a backdated source to support your argument. No, you already presented your oversimplified view of how things went, and it had nothing to do with round -by-round scoring:

You saw it segmented into two phases:
    Phase 1 - Pavlik winning
Phase 2 - Pavlik cut, momentum shifting, Martinez winning

    In reality there were three:
    Phase 1: Martinez winning
Phase 2: Momentum shifting; Pavlik rallying and winning a couple of rounds.
Phase 3: Pavlik cut, momentum shifting AGAIN, Martinez winning.

All we can surmise is that your mind is too feeble to process more than one shift in momentum in a single bout, and so when there are multiple shifts it discards all cognizance of the surplus.

I posted a score card showing that he was winning up untill he was cut on the second page post 2. Here is another score card that shows Pavlik up in the fight by 3 points going into the 9th. It was only after the cut and Pavlik could not see that Sergio started doing well up untill that point it was a close fight. And I will say it again Pavlik had to go to rehab during training camp and had to kill himself to make the weight.

Round 1: Fight starts cautiously, feeling each other out from a distance. Pavlik's boxing shorts have his children's names embroidered on them. Pavlik throwing the most punches early. Blood around the left eye of Pavlik, in the eyebrow. Pavlik's longer reach evident. Matinez tripped and fell down, not considered a knockdown. Corner working on Pavlik's left eye. Round 1 mixed scoring. Round goes to the champion Pavlik. 1-0 Pavlik

Round 2: Martinez landing more punches. Pavlik eye bleeding still. Martinez landed many more punches, 2-1 ratio. Round goes to Martinez. Landed big left at one point. 1-1 even

Round 3: Fighters trading big swings. Pavlik throwing more punches than last round, Martinez dancing away. Corner working on eye of Pavlik. Round scored to Martinez. 2-1 Martinez

Round 4: Pavlik lands solid punch. Matinez drops his hands frequently, apparently one of his styles. Martinez lands series of solid punches. Martinez taunting Pavlik. Corner working again on Pavlik eye. Round goes to Martinez. Pavlik looks more tired. 3 -1 Martinez

Round 5: Martinez looks far fresher. Dancing around. Pavlik lands solid blow. Pavlik scoring. Swelling around the right eye of Martinez. Fans chanting Kelly! Kelly! Round goes to Pavlik. 3-2 Martinez

Round 6: Trading jabs. Pavlik fighting better. Seems invigorated. May have figured out Martinez. Pavlik scores solid hits. Round goes to Pavlik. He landed 18 punches compared to 9 for Martinez. 3-3 even

Round 7: Pavlik lands solid right. Crowd chanting for Pavlik again. Pavlik knocks down Martinez, right back up. Some thought he slipped but ruled a knockdown. Martinez down after the bell, slipped. Round goes to Pavlik plus extra point. 5-3 Pavlik

Round 8: Kelly getting in his groove. Martinez slowing down visibly. Traded jabs, Pavlik more effective. Round goes to Pavlik. 6 -3 Pavlik
