barreras just right. it allows him to pick his spots pretty well and deliver his beautiful double jabs. his being a face first aggressor is whats totally wrong about his style
I can't speak for all of them, but after watching Cotto for a long time I'm convinced he would have been better had he use the southpaw stance.
True pugilists are superbly adaptive. Fighting from any *stance*, they fend off killer man eggs coming from all directions.
It's a bit silly to call it wrong when it's what works for them and it's their chosen style, not a definitive fault, even if you're "convinced" they'd do better otherwise. Michael Moorer was really right-handed. Juan Urango is, as well, I believe. I've heard Hatton is really a lefty but I'm not sure.
