He has power but little caution, no real defense. Trying to overwhelm guys and not controlling the distance wont bode well for him. He doesn't seem to have a very good beard either. Has the potential to make some money I guess. I think he would do fine until he fights a non can *not too many at heavyweight in boxing*
That's interesting. I'll wait to see if he actually goes through with it though. If Overeem wins the UFC HW title, he is going to try and transition to boxing as well.
He will knock-out alot of guys quick, his chin isnt as soft as people make, its literally because of his all out attack....leaves holes.
his latest match againt Tony, a kickboxer/boxer who was on prizefightet [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwnQdvV2ZCo[/ame]
You're wrong, that Chin is ****ing abysmal, the definition of a dried horse **** Chin. If you get dropped and hurt by a jab, you have no Chin, none.:roflatsch
Well good news for him is that the boxing HW division is currently "an ordinary field of competitors" with only 2 standouts (K2)
Check out this vid around 43 sec: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPVr3qvvsAg[/ame] Just because someone has been hurt by a jab doesn't mean they don't have a chin. I'm not arguing that Hari has a chin. I'm saying that generalization doesn't hold up. Being rocked by a punch isn't always about how hard it was thrown. Body alignment, head position, and where the punch lands all play a factor. Lets use one of your favorite subjects, Forrest Griffin. Watch the shot that drops him. That punch is much harder than the punch that finished him, but it didn't land with the same penetration. This content is protected Forrest was also moving into that hook. The above hook may not have dropped anyone, but I think there are few that would barely blink after being hit by it. Watch the head snap on this shot. This content is protected Punch placement, onrushing momentum, head and body alignment, or whatever the reason; Griffin was decimated by a shot that was much weaker than a punch he'd previously bounced up from.
