Both Mayweather and Pacquiao have been randomly tested outside of competition, training camp...neither tested positive.

*****s were quoting him every other day just a few months ago, in regards to testing. SO I guess *****s care what he says, as long as it supports their agenda.

First of all olympic athletes train all year round so there is a need for continious testing.

Why the **** would a boxer get on the juice say 12 weeks before a fight and then come off for 8 weeks? The whole point of juicing during training is it allows you to train harder and have less recovery time. I really dont see the benefits to juicing outside camp.

It may not be strictly olympic style testing but the random testing say from 8 - 10 weeks before the fight is good.

Put 2 and 2 together. You have an athelete that claims to train just about everyday all year round without getting burned out or injured.

Floyd is not doing year round testing, simply because you can't at the moment. Well he can if he wanted, but not anyone he's fighting until they sign the contract, which is what he wants. Testing from when the contract is signed.

Which means he either can juice up a storm before the contract is signed. So what Floyd wants is NOT OSDT.

It wouldn't shock me if Floyd, Pac, or any top fighters were juicing or on PEDs. The chance of getting caught with the system in place is slim to none and slim left the party years ago.

We know this. It is a modified version of OSDT, which is a huge improvement over the current testing process. Floyd's testing should be seen as the foundation which will eventually lead to year round testing. Even though I think his actions are self-serving, there is no debate that its a step in the right direction.

If it's a huge improvement and better, why didn't it catch Marion Jones where urine tests,(what boxers do get tested for) did? Why didn't it catch Carl Lewis? No one seems to want to disect and answer those questions.

Cause what they were both on were new PEDs that weren't tested for. No one is saying the system is perfect but it is FAR better than the current system which only test once before and after the fight.

Sure, but we have seen a lot of top boxers use peds, and we have to think that they are getting some kind of risk worthy benefit out of it. I mean Holyfield, Shane Mosley, Roy Jones, James Toney, etc, were all top level guys, so they obviously thought it was worth risking their rep.

Floyd, I would like to believe that he is clean, but it wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't.

Extraordinary and exceptional people are possible, I am not that much of cynic. In today's world however, with all the ped's that are available, I just don't put it past them to cheat.

That's fine, but I will not respect Floyd's decision to ask for testing until he himself agrees to be tested for Xylocaine also.
