This is such a narrowminded way of looking at it. When has Pac EVER got discouraged from being hit back? If anything it only motivates him to fight harder. For Mayweather to win this he will have to fight at a much higher pace than he has ever fought. Can he do it? maybe, but unless he finds the balls to actually put it on the line we wont find out.
Pacquiao's output goes down when he fights a defensively minded counter-puncher as was the case in BOTH Marquez fights. Marquez made Pacquiao miss and made him PAY.
Pac still almost averaged 60 punches per round vs Marquez and this is vs someone that threw a lot more than Mayweather will. So its safe to say Pac will probably throw 70 - 80 per round vs Floyd unless Floyd doubles his own normal punch output. But for the sake of arguement lets say Mayweather with his low output still gets Pac to drop down to 60ish punches per round that still almost doubles his own. What it comes down too is that if Mayweather wants to win he will have to increase his own output dramaticly. He could very well be capeble of this im not arguing that, but he does need to find the balls so we can find out. Oh and Marquez is a offensive counterpuncher not a defensive one, he throws while Pac throws which Mayweather does not do, also throws combinations another thing Mayweather does not do.
I'd like for one of the resident Pacroid nut-gulpers to please explain the folowing: If Pacquiao is so good, why tweak his style NOW for this particular fight?
atschAre you ****in serious? Is this a legit question to you? Look genius, anyone can always try to improve. The fact that you asked that question shows how serious you should be taken.
Pacroid will *not* throw 60 punches per round. If he does, Pacroid wont be around to hear the final bell. He'll be fighting Floyd's fight by the middle rounds, dazed and confused, trying to solve a puzzle that is above his paygrade...
I actually did dumbass. The asnwer is...WHO gives a **** is Pac keeps trying to improve. You know, most boxers do that. atsch Not that you know, only watching your one fighter fight sporadically...
Yes, I do. Guys who throw loads of punches against Floyd *get knocked out*. Pacroid is a guy who is *predictable*, off balance, gets out of position when he punches and is downright clumsy and reckless at times. The more punches he throws the more opportunities Floyd will have to counter Pacroid's *predictable* offense. If Manny dares to throw 60 punches per round, I can garauntee that he wont' answer the final bell.
You'e asking a pointless question that really means nothing. But you think you have a gem there, huh? Think you stumped people? Silly ****in rube... But I'm sure you'll take the fact that your question is pointless and not answered as some kind of 'win'...
