Here's a hint for you, the "massive" family of African languages belong to all of 5 families and those 5 families comprise one "super-family" of African languages. Hell, Afro-Asiatic is spoken from the Horn all the way across the Sahara to the coasts of West Africa. And lets not get started on the relationships between the Afro-Asiatic and Nlio-Saharan languages. The Sahara had a *profound* impact on Nile Valley people and culture - including that of Ancient Egypt.

Please go open a book and acquaint yourself with African language and culture before speaking on the subject.

2) They split off from Africa recently.
3) Africa retained most of the world's genetic diversity.
4) Yet Africans are all similar to each other when compared with Eurasians, and can be called a genetic community in any meaningful sense.
