People often say that if Floyd Mayweather doesn’t fight Pacquiao then his undefeated record doesn’t mean as much.

Does Floyd actually need this win to solidify himself as one of the greatest of all time? Ten years down the line, will anyone really remember that some people some place thought he was ducking Pacquiao?

not really, hes somewhat unproven in the eyes of some.

he can fight khan, martinez, maybe bradley and rematch ortiz and be good legacy wise, just good.

i guess pac gets brought because hes number one and a damn good fighter and has god status who could **** up mayweather.

Floyd does not need to fight Manny but it would do wonders for his legacy. Beating Manny which he will if they fight cements him probably in the top 25 AT

If he is too scared as he and his dad seem to think, then I guess no! Pac kills him any ways!

Yes, if Floyd really wants to establish himself as one of the greatest, if not the greatest.

Majority believe that with his superior technical skills, he can defeat Pacquiao handily. Unfortunately, he doesn't share the same confidence. He just doesn't have the heart of a true warrior.

If Floyd wants to be known as the best of his era he needs Manny on his resume.
