Reporter: The fight it self, you didn't take any punches. You stopped him, early in the fight. If you're up to it you can probably come back first of the year.

Floyd: I was thinking about that. I was thinking about that. I'm just involved with so much other stuff outside the sport. I'm not saying I'm retiring... I don't know really know. I don't really know. If I take another long layoff I may not come back.

The reporter sounds like Dan Rafael to me. If Pac looks bad against Marquez then that sets up the biggest potential chance for a Floyd-Pac fight in March-June in my opinion. If not, then he may fight Khan sometime next year. I think Pac will look good enough to not encourage Floyd to look for a Pac fight. I'd say it's a 50-50 chance whether he fights ever again. He may take another layoff in fight Khan sometime in 2012 or even 2013. Perhaps (Hopefully not) an Ortiz rematch. But another Floyd fight is hardly guaranteed.

It may be a case of 42 have tried and Pac wasn't one to get to try.

It seemed like the closest thing to a candid Floyd interview as you could get, so I was intrigued.

he said that and I think he means it he said it was the longest training camp he had and it was hard. He is not going to let himslef slip like these other fighters. And yes this was one of the better interviews floyd has given and it was dan that was talking to him

He said he wants to be more active

    :think

You know that was very astute of you... The Pretty One was probably feeling good about himself (he just knocked down the Ortiz tree with two legal sucker punches) and he let his guard down, if just ever so slightly. The man is defensive through and through... :smoke

FLoyd will wait to see how Pac looks vs Marquez before making a final decision on his next vacation.

..and raise your hand if you called a Floyd vacation right after the Ortiz fight:hi:

He may take a vacation he may not who knows.

But how does saying I was thinking about that (fighting at the first of the yr) and if I take another long layoff I may not come back equate to him saying that he is taking a vacation. Doesn't that sound more like he is interested in taking another fight to avoid a layoff?

Sorry, I forgot you can't quote Floyd because he contradicts himself, and when he contradicts himself he only means the most recent thing he said, which nullifies anything he ever said even if he ends up repeats the same thing again. Uh... :huh

Also another theme from the interview.

Pac's team is lieing. They brainwashing you. They stealing my fans. Arum is lying. They bullshiting you. It's lies, they're lieing. And he's hiding something. He just had to stick the Pac steroid accusation in there, unless he's implying Arum is hiding something which would probably be about Pac taking PEDs.

He says Khan also doesn't have a big enough fan base and needs to fight Vargas (After saying he stated he contradicted himself that Varas needed to go through Khan). I guess he uncontradicted himself?
