The reporters learned to lap on about Floyd and started framing questions to make Floyd look good. Only then could Floyd really answer more modestly, I think that helped him settle down (If he is still being untruthful. His emotions seem somewhat truthful here).

If he's not gonna fight Pacquiao in 2012, then he should just **** off and not fight again.

Where did he say that? It seemed to me Dan was trying to encourage him to fight more soon and without such a long layoff again, and Floyd sort of wavered around saying "I don't know. Training camp was hard, and I'm busy." Basically, Floyd wants to rest, watch the NFL, go to Dubai with his team and doesn't really want to come back too soon. He would like too, ideally, but he can't have it both ways. And if that time away seems to be longer and longer, he may never come back because why make yourself more vulnerable, more rusty, more inactive if you can't be at the level you expect. That's how I interpreted that.

It says he's torn. Rafael asks him about fighting in the 1st of next year and Floyd's saying he was thinking about it but keeps shifting on about how long and hard the camp was and about how he wants to rest and do all these other things. After that he goes, I'm not trying to sound like I'm retiring but if its a long enough layoff I may come back. That sounds like anything is possible. He may not fight again.

    34:20 in the interview.

    Floyd: I'm a fight again. I'm a fight again.

Rafael was obviously worried. We''ll see.

what? he has been saying he wants to be more active. NFL season ends first Week of February which thier is no way Floyd is training before then anyways. How damn long you think he is going to go to dubai if he goes? the guy basically just took 17 months out of the ring. More active would be two fights in that time. He probably has what max 3 more fights left before he calls it quits?
