Cuevas was KOd 6 times in a not so long career and lost more often and went down more often .
Buchanan's only stoppage loss was due to Duran's thumbing him .
Also , they had a mutual opponent in Duran . Vs who did Duran need to cheat against ? who did better against him ?

Easily, lol. The sheer number of title fights does not indicate how good a fighter was.If that were the case Hamed would be one of the greatest featherweights of the modern era.Do you believe that one, too?

The thread is p4p,not h2h.Just for shits and giggles,Buchanan was never ko'd in his career spanning 60+ fights. What is the indicator that Cuevas knocks him out?

Buchanan unlike Cuevas beat the numero uno in his division twice, has a much better wins resume and if Cuevas ran into Duran on his 3rd defense then no way in hell is he beating him. I also read he was robbed against Ishimato in his WBC title bid but that aside he has excellent wins over Laguan (x2), Watt, Old Ortiz, Carlos Hernandez. Pity there was never a Dejesus fight.

Does anyone think Buchanan maybe made Ortiz look older than he was with his movement and speed? Ortiz was on a good run before that
