I agree and thats what is so intriguing about it if the currnt Andy Lee fought the vera of old i would say Lee by a shutout of late stoppage but Vera has brought diffrent dimensions to his game most notably his improved jab which enables him to get close without having to dive in and in itself carries a bit of power.
I expect a cautious start from Andy slow couple of rounds then a step up and a difficult but clear enough points win,

Wouldnt doubt it but i would be happy with a cautious points win although Andy has said himself he wants this one bad.

Agreed. But if Andy can show some defense other than exhausting his opponent by stopping punches with his face, he does have world-class power in both hands. Vera has gotten better, beating demers and drawing with mora, but Andy is special. I just hope that he can use his nervous energy to his advantage. I'd love to see him fulfill his championship potential as he seems like a great lad.

I'd settle for the win but I hope Lee wins in style the fact it's on telly. Although it wasn't a great performance against McEwan it was entertaining and it did his career and TV prospects no harm. The ideal situation after this fight is that the causaul fan and HBO viewer says "I wanna see that guy against Martinez"
