I thought Mayweather looked a tad slower and also more hittable against Ortiz. A fighter with Khan's style and height could definitely give a shorter counterpuncher like Mayweather trouble.

Wtf has that got to do with Pac you weirdo. Most decent boxing analysts would agree, this is a much harder fight for PBF than his last five. Khan has a difficult style for Mayweather, combined with excellent physical attributes, this aint an easy fight for Floyd at all.

He might walk him down, but Khan would get off first, and pay for it

Floyd is a master of adapting to different fighters. He has now become a big strong WW who no longer needs to dodge anymore. He WILL go after Khan and be the most aggressive since his lighter days. Why would he wait for Khan to jab him? Khan has a longer reach and can safely jab at distance. Floyd will look to go into the pocket if neccessary and bring the hurt to Khan. Floyd has a very good chance of stopping Khan in the mid rounds. If he choses a more defensive approach, it will benefit Khan more and become a close UD for.......

Only fans of Pacquiao and not boxing fans would say something so ridiculous.

So Khan is a bigger challenge than the JMW champ DLH in 2007? Undefeated Hatton in 2007? WW Champ and #3 P4P Mosley in 2010? Marquez in 2009, who Pac is now fighting in a "mega-fight"?

Khan would get knocked out early.

As of what we have seen of him? No, not a chance.

Floyd's speed, timing and counter punching would nullify Amir's speed with ease.

We can't even say how he would be yet because we haven't even seen him in with anyone at 147.

I am interested in the fight, though. Hope it happens down the line.

    Exactly.

Beat up Peterson and take out Ortiz or Berto at 147 and then let's see what he's got.

Depends when they fight, within the next year, and if mayweather stays sharp in that year. Definitive no.

If mayweather doesn't fight for 18 months though, who knows it could be very close.
