SO here goes, started training with a well respected amateur coach just to boost my fitness and learn a bit of technique, well got to the stage where I done a white collar contest and was having 3 sessions a week with my trainer, I am now looking to more white collar contests. Its got to the stage where I don't think I can improve my fitness anymore but am looking to move on with regards to my technique and building up my strength to bang harder.

Was thinking of changing to a local well known pro trainer which works out not that much more expensive than I already pay.

What can I expect if i did make the change.

Listen mate with all honesty i have note done this myself but what i can tell you amateur and pro is like.. a completely different style, obviously for pro he isnt gonna train you very well but its going to be a pro style training and wont be as effective in amateur. If this coach is much better than the one you are at right now then go for it but if your amateur coach is pretty decent then i suggest sticking with him

I would imagine pro coach would be a lot more focused on technique, as to an amateur who focuses mostly on the cardio aspect

A good good is just that, a good coach. Doesn't matter at what level he is training people. You don't have to hire a celebrity like Freddie Roach to get the best advice. There is many a good coach toiling in obscurity.
