Is the Lee Vera fight one of the biggest in recent times in Irish boxing circles,I know we have had lads fight for major honours in the past year but its been a while since iv seen everyone get behind one Irishman for a particular fight like this and there seems to be a sense of giddy excitement as we approach Saturday night.

Mc Closkey fighting Khan was definetly bigger and more exciting in the build up.That said there is a good buzz about this one alright i think most people see it as now or never for Andy and everyone seems to like the lad.

I hear ya loud and clear Elvis but that is what I was told,
and it kinda makes sense I believe team Chavez think they have the beating of Lee or Vera there's now way top rank will put him in the ring with Sergio or Pirog and see the other 2 lads as an winnable fight.

Those corona byrds are something else!

Will this be for the EBU light-welterweight title? Lauri was supposed to be getting a re-match with Dudey for the EBU title.
