Why does he regret this? Sure he "lost" but it put him on the map as a major player. If anything anything he should regret not being more open to the public and give better statements.

Andre doesn't seem to realise that if you burn your bridges, you have to rebuild them or find another one to cross. What you don't do is pull your pants down and **** on the ashes of your previous handiwork, then cry because there's nowhere to go.

Sad thing is, he is easily the most talented boxer in the division. He has it all: agility, angles, punching power, defence, legwork, age, punch resistance, nationality (you're not great if you're not american, division without americans is a dying division/worst in years). The embarassing moments in his life that people attribute to his fragile heart are not really his heart, more like his lack of experience and being thrown in there with the top dogs while not being nearly on their level mentally. Abraham, Froch, Kessler, they are MEN that have been in there with top notch opposition and were gradually led to success. Throwing Dirrel in with them was a serious test and I say he didn't do THAT bad given the circumstances. Andre Direll, who is a level above Andre Ward, gets none of the respect Ward gets. Yet somehow, people forget how protected Ward is and how babied his career has been.

I agree with most of this. You forget however that ward out boxed Abraham for 12 rounds, where Dirrell did for 9 before starting to get caught.

Look at all the euro trash haters in this thread.

He was the only one to knock down Arthur Abraham silly on his ass and made Carl Froch look like an amateur in front of his home town. Notice how all the yellow teeth brits defend his illegal ring antics (and his back injury delay), yet quick to bash Mayweather and Ward for the same reasons.

Andre Dirrell already made Carl Froch do the chicken dance and gave him a boxing lesson in the process, while Carl needed wrestling and a biased ref in his hometown to steal a decision. Ward is next up to make Froch his ***** in December, just like Direll and Kessler did.

He wasn't getting caught at all. In fact, in the same round that Abraham hit Dirrell while he was down, name one punch that he landed. Fact is, he was swinging and missing the entire time, Dirrell was making him look like a fool. :rofl

he was knocked down in the 10th. Horrible call by the ref. Fact is that Abraham was getting closer after having been schooled throughout 9. the fact that Abraham fouled him in the 11th just went to show how frustrated Dirrell had made him.

Fraudre Dirrell is a Glass Hearted, China Chinned Hype Job, nothing more and nothing less. The guy has given in to adversity on multiple occasions, he's a ****ing flake in and out of the ring, and he has no Chin, none. That punch that Abraham hit him with wouldn't have bothered a Glass Jawed MMA fighter and yet he was rolling around complaining of a concussion.:rofl:patsch

Fraudre is a disgrace to boxing. The entire boxing community would be better off if he bowed out before embarrassing himself and tarnishing the word "boxer" any further.:deal

If Dirrell would have won a world title fighting like that it would have been a travesty for the sport.

Hes a great boxer to watch, i got the impression he could of gone on to win this tournement, i think hes better than Ward or Froch even though he lost to him.

I personally thought the decision was harsh on Andre but that he only had himself to blame, if hed gritted his teeth and tried to continue fighting Froch the way he had in the 1st half of the fight the judges would of struggled to give Froch the fight.

Dunno why he went all back foot, dunno why he acted at the end of the Abraham fight either, makes me question his heart. But skill wise i thought he looked the best of the lot in the super 6 and i give him the benefit of the doubt with regards to his heart to keep going when the going gets tough.

Im looking forward to seeing him back and get a couple of none TV fights under his belt and id reckon the TV networks would find room and a paycheque for him. Hes got bags of potential.

No TV company or promotors want anything to do with Dirrell.

Demers is scheduled to fight Allan Green on the Bute-Johnson undercard which yet again leaves Dirrell in the dark.

Dirrell needs to produce a statement from Dr. Shaw-Hi stating that his brain is now completely healed and that his mind didn't receive permanent damage from his full-body seizure.

Froch outboxed AA for 12 rounds, Ward lost a couple of rounds at the start of the fight.

How can he regret getting fouled by Abraham?

Those are not his actions, therefore he cant regret it, no?:patsch

How about when Dirrell knocked Abraham down for a second time, that was a horrible call by the ref too? Can't have it both ways.

Abraham landed not a single punch against Dirrell in the 11th.

Dirrel's movement made Abraham look absolutely foolish, which he was why he was frustrated and hit Dirrell after he slipped.
