The Pac fight obviously would of effected him, but he is a clever man Hatton still doing everything he can to keep this image up as butter wouldn't melt, he is using the Pac fight as the excuse I agree Gaz but what I am getting at is the fact that mr clean cut man of the people Ricky Hatton went to rehab because of the fact he was set up by this fat bird he was shagging, do you think we would be hearing this utter bull**** now about him being suicidle depressed etc etc if he had not been shown in the national papers sniffing his brains out?

The guy has had a drink problem for years and I know for a fact he has been sniffing for years aswell, so that leads me to ask has he been depressed all his adult life?

I believe him. Boxing was all he did and what he was good at. After he was done, he became a nonentity, so he probably tried to make himself content with his Money, but that never lasts. Same with Oscar, same with Calzaghe. Some just have more self control and have more things to do than others.

I agree with the beak probably not being limited to after the Pac fight. I just couldn't see where he was blaming the "fat bird" or the NOTW, he was firmly blaming the Pac fight in that interview.
