Who is the greater fighter between Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales?

Morales is GOD.

 

Morales is so great that wins like his over other great fighters, like Ayala are just completely forgotten about.

 

I dont know where you can say MAB was the better fighter when Morales was the more versatile fighter and his skills adapted better vs more different style fighters.
Examples being the Junior Jones and Manny Pacquiao fights.....Morales clearly beat those guys where MAB did'tn have the tools in his arsenal to cope with those opponents.

Clearly imo Morales was a sounder and more complete fighter.

 

MAB clearly outclassed Hamed, but yes, "beating" is overstating it by a sizeable margin.
As I watched MAB beat Hamed, I sensed MAB could down the accelerator and get into beatdown mode, but MAB played it cautious in the knowing that Hamed had the devestating power to turn the fight with a single blow.

So yeah, MAB was too cautious, maybe even overly cautious. Certainly it was far from a beatdown.

 

MORALES won the first two fights comfortably.
Morales beat Barrera in a slug fest (first fight). He also beat him in a boxing match (second fight). Third fight Morales started laten but finished better. I have to judge that fight again. At first I had it a draw. Then a Barrera victory by one point.

No, you are the joke. Morales looked like a monster after the first fight, and Barerra got tired in the rematch, and still landed the cleaner, harder shots.

I had the exact same... I gave Morales the 1st fight, very close but I felt he just outworked Barrera in most rds.

I gave Morales the 2nd fight very clearly, even MABs corner told him he was losing late on, this was a robbery in order to make a big money 3rd fight, a 3rd fight is a hard sell if its not 1-1

I scored the 3rd fight even, Barrera winning 4 of the first 6 rds & Morales winning 4 of the last 6 rds, Morales left it too late in this one IMO, by the time he woke up & started treating MAB with the respect he did in the first 2 fights he was playing catch-up.
