Who is the greater fighter between Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales?

    There is one thing that Morales was able to do that Barrera was not able.


    Morales beat the fighters who beat barrera.

    By that alone, Morales is greater.

    He judges fights on the way a fighter looks after. That's the only thing I can think of.

    Morales clearly won the 2nd. Personally, i have the 1st fight even, although if you wanna count that "knockdown" at the 12th, you could give it to Barrera. Barrera won the 3rd.

    As for the thread title, i have Morales ranked higher by a hair.

    Both are great highly skilled warriors, and 2 of the most exciting fighters to ever step in the ring! :good

    Barrera clearly beat Morales in the first one. I thought he beat Marquez too. He certainly wasn't as good against lefties but was better against Orthadox imo.

    I don't create polls that favor the fighter I like because I don't give a **** about the poll. I do want to read opinions on who is greater though.

    I saw all three fights. You either know Morales, are kin, or are a ****ing liar of a diehard fan.

    To say Morales won the first fight handily is a ****ing lie. To say Morales won the first fight period makes me want to smack the ****ing poster who said Morales won.

    Barrera h2h beyond question, and I believe his resume matches up well too. Giving Manny an L is a HUGE plus for him, but Hamed is also huge in MAB's column. Erik is by far the more popular fighter, so he'll win this poll as easily as he won his poll against Mayweather (where I voted for him lol...)

    Bill, saying EM is an ATG at 122 and Marco isn't is just asinine, that approaches **** level. Erik couldn't beat Marco at ANY weight, so how exactly does THAT work?

    Except he's right, and you're a ****** with way too much confidence. 1st fight, everybody except Bill Butcher knows Mab won.

    Second fight, everybody's mad at Marco for boxing, but they split the first half of the fight and MAB swept the second half when the fight broke out.

    Third fight, clear and easy win for MAB.
