If it happens is a very good fight. Depends what weight they agree.
If the staement is true that they want to make an announcement for the biggest fight over the last 15 years. Then this should be good.

Would be hilarious if this is a ploy to get us to watch the martinz v barker fight and at th end they say we are willing to fight pac/floyd at 150 ifeither accepts.

 

The anti-Floyd comments on this thread from PAC fans are ridiculous. Martinez poses a greater threat to Floyd than Pacquiao. Martinez is bigger, just as fast and a better technical boxer than PAC. The only fighter that can probably beat Floyd is Martinez.

thats why 154 is the weight it should be at, if its happening of course.
Same way pac vs marquez 3 should have been at 140 for pac to get legacy credit out of the fight. the more the weight favours you, the less credit you get unless the opponent later becomes great at the weight and above as well (hagler hearns for example).

It's not a catchweight if its at 147, 154 or 160. And Sergio has the advantage in size. What I want to see is how *****s will spin the catchweight IF it does happen. They've been vocal about pac's 2 catchweight fights even though Floyd's had 1 himself. If sergio agrees....he's a big boy... No excuses.

my thoughts is this fight should be done at at least 154

if Floyd wants a catchweight for a middleweight title, the catch should be no lower than 157, Sexy Sergio came in at 158.8 for his last bout

 

Floyd wont take a re-match with Ortiz what makes you think he would step into the ring with Sergio martinez!! FFS LMAO... HE WONT! Wont fight pac either!
