Floyd because of his dominance in big fights. I see Floyd as top 30-40...Pac in top 30-40 with Floyd slightly ahead.

it all boils down to achievements based on expectations.

if we have two students, student A is a 5th grader while student B is a 2nd grader. naturally if both will undergo certain exams and exercises, one would expect student A to perform better and he does. it will come as a surprise though if student B comes to match students A's results. naturally we tend to give student B more credit.. that is if student A limits himself to that level. but if he were say to undertake higher learning exercises a level at which is not expected of him, then he too could get the same credit that student B does for his.

Yeah, because Floyd was sooooo dominant against the two best guys he has ever fought, Oscar De La Hoya and Jose Luis Castillo. :rofl

He won the first Castillo fights 8-3-1 on my score card and was easily outboxing the bigger man.

Giving De La Hoya more than 3 rounds is a joke. He clearly won.

Pac being outboxed by a fading Morales?

Being outboxed by Marquez twice(although I thought he definitely won the first fight)

His great win over Barrera is his best win. Ducked Nate Campbell at 135 and fought David Diaz for a paper belt.

In fact, 5/8 of his 8 division championships have been paper belts. Not to mention once he finally got in a decent strength and conditioning program, he was a big fighter in most of those weight classes...lol.

I have given Mayweather a hell of a lot of praise for his in-ring abilities, anyone who isn't a 12 year old ***** drama queen knows that.

Your scorecard is so twisted with bias that it'd make Floyd Sr blush. That score is completely unjustifiable and idiotic. :deal

  9. manny is asian and mayweather is black and this is the usa where blacks are still second class citizens. that is why manny will be ranked higher than mayweather.

And that is why no-one in the USA recognizes Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali as a collection of the elite fighters of all-time, isn't it? That's why Pacquiao will be ranked higher than all of them as well. :nut

    This.

... and I completely agree that the two reasons are valid, and it is exactly how I see the situation.

Actually, I rate ODLH higher than Floyd for the same reasons. Better resume and more world titles in more weight classes than Floyd. Also, Oscar's contributions to the sport overall have been greater.

    Bull****.
first, Pacquiao will not answer the questions about his legacy, which is steroids. if you won't take the test it's because you're hiding something. he and floyd would be at the same disadvantage if they took the test.

also, Pac fought two people with any type of boxing ability and struggled. morales before steroids and marquez with the roids. he has no skill just physical aptitude. that's all

floyd has fought a much more diverse range of fighters and beaten them all.
and pacquiao's climb in the weight classes and recent wins are 100% garbage. Clottey was bribed, and was a cotto left over, Cotto was a margarito leftover, who was a shane left over, who was a mayweather left over along with ODLH, hatton, and now marquez. and mayweather fought them much closer to their primes than pac boy with the exception of Marquez. and that win for pac isn't much legit since it was a split decision. money won more rounds in one fight than pac did in two fights against marquez. pac boy has no skill and can only fight slow bums with no boxing ability. he was too dumb to cut off the ring against a shot to **** mosley. a hype job only outdone by calzaghe
