What I believe is irrelevant. I'm not Mayweather. Mayweather believes this guys on something. The rules allow him to do additional testing, and he has the money to make it happen. If he's confident the random blood and urine tests will prevent Pacquiao from cheating, I don't see why he wouldn't insist on it.

That is true. The rules allow him to do as such but Pacquiao also has the option to negotiate with what Floyd wants and not to give in to what Floyd wants. It works both ways.

If Floyd is better than Pacquiao, why doesn't he let him carry on taking the roids and beat him anyway?

Not much difference between the two actually. If juice off season, it does not matter if you test once or 5 million times during camp.

The random testing Floyd has requested will weaken Pacquiao physically and mentally and will prevent him from cheating. Major advantage to me it seems.

Atr least we can put the obvious lie to rest, that Floyd wanted to clean up the sport.

Which I though WAS dead, but pinceN and a couple other fools brought it up again the other day, using the 'clean the sport' line yet again.

Anybody who believes that Floyd really wanted to clean up the sport is in denial.

You're absolutely right. He does have the right to say no. However, I can understand why Mayweahe would insist on the testing being done. I'm struggling to understad why Pacquiao has let this fight fall apart just to avoid taking the tests.

Pride. Pac considers himself the top dog. If you're the one on top, nobody tells you their demands. The top dog is supposed to be the one dictating. Besides, it's not like Pac didn't turn down the fight down because of it. Pac negotiated. It's better than saying NO to the fight.

The truth of all this is that Floyd will never fight Pacquiao. The drug tests are just mere deflections to keep him away from fighting Pacquiao. He just keeps on the ball rolling bouncing back and forth that will lead to nowhere.

Yeah well that is still the debate and I too feel the same way but then again, Both Pac and Floyd are the ones to blame. Pac's pride got in the way and Floyd's obscure reason for demanding OSDT in the contract is the reason why the fight never / will never get made.

I'm sorry, but this is idiotic reasoning. Pac is arguably not even a bigger draw than Mayeather. And he only is ranked no.1 p4p because Mayweather retired. They have equal standing in the sport. Pacquaio dictated to Mayweather in regards to the $10M per lb. weight penalty. Mayweather said no problem. Mayweather dictated the drug testing and a million excuses came out. For Pac to let this fight fall apart over his ego is idiotic.

For that to be true, he would've had to have known ahead of time that Pacquiao wouldn't agree to the tests. However, when it was first annouced that he had asked for it, both Roach and Koncz said it wasn't a problem. Koncz even said he talked to Pac, and Pac laughed and said he had nothing to hide. So if people close to Pac didn't anticipate it being a problem, how could Mayweather?

Wrong. Pac was already being considered by some that Pac was a close draw to Floyd's p4p status back then before Floyd retired. It's not Pac's fault that Floyd retired. Besides that, Pac solidified his status as a p4p king by destroying the top dogs in the welterweight division even when he was considered the underdog.

Like I said, Pac didn't become p4p king because one man decided to take a long vacation. Pac earned it by achieving what no other fighter has ever achieved. Not even in our lifetime will somebody be able to even come close to what Pac has done in the sport.

This will be my last response to this thread. Anything beyond this is just a pissing contest.

    Good day.
