bradley openly turned down a khan fight....because a loss would mean he wouldnt get a pac fight...the pac/bradley fight has been in the works since floyd announced hed be fighting victor......so manny, with a fight still ahead, already has his next fight ready...without even trying to see if floyd wants to do anything...its typical arum...he wants no part of floyd...it would hurt bobs ego to see his prize get beat by the man who left top rank to become a megastar...it might actually kill bob

But if they can get Sergio to come down to 150, I think they'll go for it. I know Sergio has said he can make 150, but I think he will be too drained and not be at his best.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Floyd take on DLH at 154? So I do not see why Floyd can not take Maravilla at 154 as well. Win or loose, I would give Floyd credit for taking Sergio at 154 and not draining opponents too much like Team Pacquiao likes to do.

and sergio is a middleweight champ and has talked of going north.....floyds never fought at 160....and floyd calls the shots...so its fair...if sergio wants the fight.......

yeah the difference is...when floyd and the public were calling for a floyd/shane fight many years back...it was shane saying he had a vacation and a tootache...it wasnt floyd saying "ohhhh shane...yer tooo gooood...yer not oscar"

Sadly, I have to agree with this thread. Mayweather isn't taking any meaningful fight especially if the Ortiz fight's PPV numbers are high. I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight the likes of Maidana, Khan, Berto and so on. A fight with Martinez or Pacquiao or anyone in that level shouldn't even be discussed.
