I think he (Barker) will get stopped late because of his suspect stamina and chin, but at the time the scorecards will be very close and Barker will have his moments in the fight, people who are saying "no chance at all" and "Martinez is going to **** up his ****" are American's who automatically think Barker is shite coz he's British and they havnt heard of him.
    C*nts.

There is such a disparity in levels in this fight, I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all to see Barker go down on the end of single shot. Barker has been hurt at Domestic and European level. This is such a big step up I can't even believe it's happening. It's slightly amusing listening to Barker. Sure, you have to believe you can win, but he must understand that he's never been near a ring with someone as good as Martinez in it. It's a foregone conclusion.

I'm British. I've seen him fight a few times. He will do well to win a single, solitary round.

You only needed to watch SkySports' Ringside to figure that out! In the build up they showed clips of Barker against Spada/McDermott - compared with a short clip of Martinez's devastating KO of Williams

He has an extremely slim chance. He looks to be in good shape and is confident, but I just don't see it. Entirely different leagues.

And if Barker does have a suspect chin then why do you favour him to see the late rounds? Did you not see what Martinez did to Williams and Sergei Dzinziruk?

Neither fighter was considered chinny going in. Just sayin'.

Well he's a decent boxer, won't fold easy on the night of his life, and is significantly bigger than Martinez. Decent chance.

make some sense - I said he would get stopped in the later rounds, stop being so negative.

If what you say is true, and Barker has "suspect" stamina and punch resistance, then I don't understand for the life of me why you're favouring him to reach the late rounds. You don't see Martinez landing often?

Fair enough. I do hope Barker makes it competitive, I'm just being realistic. I've seen enough of both fighters to feel confident in my prediction that Barker is totally outclassed in practically every area, and as a result, will be in a world of **** come Saturday night.
