He couldn't KO Haye. Ali had a better chin than Haye & much more skill.

Either Klitschko beats any version of Ali at his own game ..
D quick & vulnerable Ali runs for his life in reverse as usual but still gets outscored in the very few occasions he might be in range and even stopped if he doesn't manage to pull back quick enough , neither Klitschko hits as hard as Henry Cooper or Doug Jones after all ..
D slower stronger Ali gets manhandled on d inside and beaten in the outside prior to it , neither Klitschko is strong as Ken Norton after all ..

Klitschko haters are so desperate for a Ali sized fighter who can do well against Wladimir that their now holding up Haye! News flash! Wlad beat Haye easy! He won almost every round. Haye just came in to run. Ali could have been 10x better than Haye and still lost to Wladimir. Plus, Haye is a KO artist (Unlike Ali) so Wladimir had to be more careful with Haye than with a fighter like Ali........

No I was just pointing out to the guy I quoted that Wlad's power is irrelevant. Wlad couldn't KO a guy who is much worse than Ali with a much worse chin. Haye isn't even a good defensive boxer & Wlad still couldn't hurt him.
I haven't even said Wlad wouldn't/couldn't beat Ali but the thread title is ridiculous. Wlad has never beaten anyone as good as Ali.

I agree with that. I think the truth is probably more down the middle. Ali would have done much better than Wladimir's fans want to believe and much worse than the Klitschko haters want to admit..........

Exactly. And Ali doesn't have a better chin, he has a MUCH better chin, one of the best of all time. Haye's chin is shaky, at best - and Wlad didn't knock him out. No way would he stop Ali.

Wlads tentative **** wouldnt work against any top heavyweight especially with his shaky chin. Ali reach is same if not more than Wlad and would simply dismantle the big guy. Vitali would have more chance only because of his intangibles.(like not crapping it whenever his opponent hits him)

Wladmir Klitskco the most intimidating heavyweight ever, of course he would kill Ali.
Just Like Frazier, Liston, Shavers and Foreman did

I understand, but wlad was not really well then and the Brewster couldn't land any good punches before wlad seriously was out

Wlad has an edge in size and punching power, but Alis' advantages in speed, skill, stamina, and punch resistance are probably enough to ensure that he doesn't get "murdered", and emerges from the fight with his hand raised in victory.

As much as I admire Wlad's technical skills, saying that he would "murder" or "destroy" Ali is ridiculous.

And tbh, I think Ali's greatest asset was neither his skill nor his speed nor his cunning nor his ring smarts. . .it was his unbelievable heart and mental toughness which allowed him to go through desperate 15 round wars. I think this quality alone ensures a win over Wlad.
